The US Navy has a timeline and supplementary material for US polar expeditions including the Jeanette, Grinell, Wilkes & Greely expeditions of the 19C, Byrd’s expeditions and other 20C Antarctic expedition. Strangely it omits all mention of Cook or Peary.
